Do You Need a Real Estate Recruiting CRM

Do You Need a Real Estate Recruiting CRM

If you're serious about growing your real estate brokerage, a recruiting CRM isn't just helpful, it’s essential.

What Is a Recruiting CRM?

A real estate recruiting CRM helps you manage outreach to prospective agents by tracking:

  • Contacts and conversations

  • Follow-up reminders

  • Appointments and outcomes

  • Email/text automation

  • Conversion metrics

It organizes your recruiting pipeline and keeps prospects from slipping through the cracks.

Why It Matters

Most agents don’t agree to a recruiting appointment on the first call. They also rarely move immediately following a recruiting appointment.

That means consistent follow-up is critical to the growth of your brokerage. And consistent follow-up is nearly impossible to manage without a system.

Do You Need a Recruiting CRM?

You likely need a CRM if:

  • You want to hire more than a handful of agents per year

  • You’re tracking 200+ prospects

  • You want to automate as much of your follow-up as possible

  • You manage a recruiter or use a calling service like ours

Choosing the Right One

Broadly speaking, there are three types of CRMs you can use for recruiting.

The first is a general CRM you tailor to recruiting. This is a good option if you’re still in production, have an existing CRM you use, and/or don't want to manage a second CRM.

Most general CRMs are customizable so you can build out workflows and automations to manage your recruiting prospects.

The second type of CRM is real estate recruiting specific. The advantage to this type of CRM is that it comes with built-in recruiting automations, workflows, and template messages so you don't need to create your own.

The third type of CRM is one that is both recruiting specific and includes a data feed that gives you up-to-date contact and production information for all your prospects. This saves you the hassle of needing to manage your CRM plus a separate data platform.

Many recruiting CRMs that include data also incorporate AI that automatically triggers emails, texts, and tasks based on agents’ behavior and production.

Bottom Line

Spreadsheets, task lists, sticky notes, and reminders can only take you so far. If you want to recruit consistently and truly grow your brokerage, a CRM is a must.
